Behavioral Medicine Assessments
Behavioral Medicine assessments provide evaluations for other medical specialties to help determine a patients’ psychological readiness and social support systems which can help to determine a patient’s ability to follow through with post-operative instructions or treatments. Patients who are preparing for certain surgeries, such as weight reduction, spinal cord stimulator implants, organ transplant or insulin-pump are often required by doctors or their insurance providers to undergo these evaluations.
